Chatel Transfers this winter

Following a very successful Summer in Chatel with high levels of precautions taken, we now take a deep breath in anticipation as to what the winter brings. Chatel and the surrounding villages benefited from the ‘Staycation’ implemented by lock downs and lack of consumer confidence to travel abroad. The amount of people flying into Geneva airport through the summer and requiring transfers to Chatel was remarkably down as would be expected.

Chatel Skiing
Chatel village has plenty of bars and restaurants and lovely catered chalets, self catered chalets and hotel accommodation.

In light of all the chaos and uncertainty facing us, we are all preparing in Chatel for a full on winter albeit the demographic may change? Our biggest challenge as someone whom relies on foreign tourists is how seriously will the travel bans, quarantines and just peoples fear of travelling cost our business. How do we therefore diversify or plan for such uncertainties? Its going to be tough and everyone will do their best to ensure we are capable to respond to whatever situation is thrown at us.

 Hope for the future?

With several media reports on vaccines being available in the near future and the massive effort made by business owners and you the public, we feel people will always wish to travel to the mountains for their annual ski holiday. We are confident this will be a successful winter but not naive to think it will be the same as years gone by. Our client base are also very optimistic and several bookings received already. We of course making a promise to refund if things go severely wrong once again.
